Emergency Management

United through Training

On August 18th, members of the Lawrence Township Fire Department (Station 20), including career and volunteer firefighters, joined the West Windsor Fire Department for a joint training drill at Mercer County Lake in Mercer County Park.

Led by Lawrence Township Deputy Fire Chief Ray Nagy, the drill gave firefighters the opportunity to train together, strengthen their readiness, and practice the teamwork and coordination needed during emergencies.

This drill is another example of Lawrence Township’s career and volunteer firefighters working side-by-side as one combination fire department; both during training and when responding to real-world emergencies.

Thank you to all of the Lawrence Township and West Windsor firefighters who participated, and to Deputy Chief Nagy for leading the training.
