PSE&G Recycling Program

PSE&G offers free pickup of old refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers. Eligible residents can receive a $150 rebate for fridges/freezers and $50 for air conditioners or dehumidifiers picked up at the same time. Appliances must be working and located at your PSE&G service address. Some restrictions apply.

Dog Licensing

Don’t forget to license your dog!

Animal Control is contacting more than 500 dog owners with delinquent licenses. Beginning June, summonses may be issued for unlicensed dogs.

A $9 late fee is currently in effect, and rabies vaccinations must be valid through November 2026.

For questions about your application or your dog’s rabies expiration, please contact the Clerk’s Office.

The Lawrence Township Police Department, in partnership with Sustainable Lawrence, is excited to host our Annual Bike Rodeo! Come out for a fun and educational day focused on bike safety and community connection.

Maidenhead Classic

Please join us for the Maidenhead Classic, an evening of baseball played according to the original 1864 rules. This event, which is co-sponsored by the Lawrence Township Junior Baseball & Softball Association, will feature the Neshanock Base Ball Club of Flemington, as they face off against the hometown Maidenhead Club, using authentic replicas of 19th century equipment and wearing 19th century uniforms. This event is FREE.

The Lawrence Township Business and Economic Growth Committee is looking for student representatives for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Student reps will get real-world experience assisting with event planning, sharing ideas, and supporting efforts to help small businesses thrive in Lawrence Township.

David Brearley Fun Run

Come celebrate the birth of David Brearley - American Founding Father and signer of the Constitution - by participating in a fun run (or walk!).

This scenic, out-and-back 5K course begins at his historic home, the Brearley House (built in 1761), and follows the Delaware & Raritan Canal to the Port Mercer Canal House (built in the 1830s).
